Bocce Ball

Bocce Ball, sometimes referred to as Italian Lawn Bowling, is one of the oldest and most widely played lawn sports in the world. The Windsor Center is the proud host of two indoor bocce courts available year-round to the community, located in Room 306.  Bocce Balls are provided for play.

Games can be played with teams of 1-4 people. Each team will need 4 larger bocce balls and one smaller “pallina” ball to share. The first team to go will then throw the pallina ball past the center line, but typically still as close as possible to the center. Then each team will attempt to get their bocce balls the closest to the pallina. Full rules may be found here.

The Caspian Bocce Men’s League play on Mondays during February and March. The is a Women's League play on Thursdays evenings on a drop-in basis coordinated by  Dale Safford.
